As a certified stockholder and processing facility to AS/EN 9100 and AS/EN 9120, Tennant Metall & Technologie carries an extensive supply programme of round bar — from martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steels to low-alloy quenched and tempered steels. Most common grades are available from stock; special grades and unusual dimensions are sourced on short notice on request.
On request we supply cut lengths up to 550 mm diameter to your specification, including a 3.1 mill certificate to EN 10204 and export-ready packaging to IPPC standard. For more on our processing capabilities, see the Processing & Value-Added Services section.
In addition to steel grades, we also source and stock round bar in aluminium and nickel-base alloys such as Inconel® on request.

Five Grades Backed by Deep Stock and Extensive Experience
These five materials form part of our core round bar programme and are regularly available from stock or on short lead time.
Martensitic precipitation-hardening chromium-nickel-copper steel with high strength combined with good corrosion resistance and toughness. Typical application: landing gear and structural components in aerospace.
The classic among precipitation-hardening stainless steels — high strength, good toughness and corrosion resistance across a broad heat-treatment range. Widely used in aerospace, mechanical engineering and defence.
High-strength precipitation-hardening stainless steel with particularly good toughness at high strength — suited to highly stressed, safety-critical components in aerospace and defence.
Low-alloy chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel, readily weldable and heat-treatable, with high strength at low weight. Proven in frame construction, landing gear and structural components.
Low-alloy quenched and tempered steel with a balanced combination of strength, toughness and weldability. One of our core programmes — Europe's largest range of stocked dimensions as 25CrMo4 tube, complemented by round bar from stock.
